I was at Dollar General and while in line to pay I noticed employee and customer watching me with mean looks.?

Question

Whispering to each other. I left the store and the customer followed me out to my car and asked me if I wanted to go back in and pay for the items I stole(put in my purse)or did I want to be charged with larceny? I told him I did not steal anything that I was in my purse getting out a pill to take. He may have misunderstood what I was doing. He told me last chance to make it right or go to jail. I just got in the car and left. Do I have to watch over my shoulders now? I STOLE NOTHING!

i can do the whole racism thing

i can do the whole stereotipical thing but in my opinion i would say that if they didnt call the cops a that time there is nuthing they can do because there is no information and/or proof to accuse u of larceny

But if they would have called the cops after u left u would possibly be charged with robbery and evading the scene of a crime more harsh than just larceny

U have nuthing to worry about unless u r black LOL

Don't worry about it, it was the customer who approached you not the store clerk or any store representative. You should have told that customer to get a life.

I would be livid.  I would have poured out my bag just to make him look like an ***,,,and then I would contact their corporate office and explain what happened.

I would have told the customer that since a store employee has not approached you about stealing, they should mind their own d**n business. Then I would have told them to back off or you would call the police.

If he was store security he waould ahve taken action and put you in cuffs.

I would be a bit more careful in that store in the future about what I did with my purse.  No need to invite trouble.
