the other day i went through and filled up my gas tank, well when i went to fill it up the card reader on the pump wasn't reading my card so i went in and they stated that they could do it, but i have to bill it as credit! so i did. Now i am wondering if it was really billed as credit. because it was yesterday morning and i have checked my online banking and there wasn't a difference now either it was acutally billed as credit, or they just take forever for everything to clear through.

Now here's the thing that i am kind of confused about.

Now i dont believe that my account is capable of being credit, never the less it might possibly be

Should i be worried???

  1. yes

  2. when something is charged as credit, it takes a few days to clear. just make sure you have enough money on your account so when is does u wont go into overdraft

  3. why should u worry? I won't.Since you know where the gas station at there's nothing to worry about.By the way if you bank card it can be used as credit if you forgot your pin code.Where I live msome gas stations have stoped taking bank or credit. They only take cash.LOL.I don't know where this country is heading.I think life getting harder everyday for working people.I was watching local tv and they were showing people in line at local welfare office trying get help and they said some people showed up at 3:30AM so they can make sure they get in and get help. Now tell me the last time you heard of such story where people get in line 3:30 AM? Maybe during crazy holiday shopping time at the malls.

  4. no does your card have a credit card logo on it..a mastercard or visa symbol? if it does it is capable of being run as a credit card..and the thing about debit cards being used as credit cards is that they take longer to come out of  your bank..they are routed a different way and most times it doesnt actually come out of your account until three or four days later..i actually at thanksgiving had a card purchase post 22 days later....that was some c**p...lol good luck and dont worry...if they ran it they had to get a confirmation number in order to pay for that gas and its over and done with if the cashier did something wrong its on that store not on you
