I was awarded FAFSA then changed schools?

I went to the FAFSA website and changed to the school I want to go to. I was due to start at the university of phoenix but decided not to go there, do you think the university already got there money

  1. I believe it is too soon for them to receive their money. You should be fine. I always try and put more then one school down just in case I change my mind later. Good luck.  


  2. After you have applied for your FASFA your school will request your tax return information before you are awarded any money. And when you filed your FASFA did you list all the schools you were wanting to go to. If you recieve any grants/loans and you do not go to school you will not be able to apply for any other grants. Well you can but you more than likely wont be awarded any money. The school wont recieve money until you have recieved an award letter stating how much money you were awarded. Hope this helps
