I was born in Abu-dhabi,UAE. is there any possibility of getting nationality or citizenship of UAE?Any chance?

my father is also working in abu-dhabi since last 25 to 27 years as senior electrical supervisor in a company,i was also born in abu-dhabi,UAE so is there any chance of getting nationality or ciitzenship? plz let me know thanks

  1. Even if you do get a nationality (though I seriously doubt it), you'd still be officially classified as a second class citizen!


  2. No chance whatsoever. Think about it logically, more than 80% of UAE's population is foreign. If you and other expats are naturalized, their country will have gone in the hands of expats within the span of ONE generation. Do you think this is ever going to happen? Don't you know the level of racism in these countries? (they consider themselves to be islamic countries still) but they can carry on believing what they want.

    You, on the other hand, should get this out of your mind totally and work on something else.

  3. Nil. I too know of a lot of UAE bred and born expats whose parents are likewise born and bred in UAE. They don't had out citizenships just like that.
