I was born in england, possess a british passport. i havent lived there for 34 yrs. do i need re entry permit?

I currently live in france, and am a resident. I want to return to england to live. I want to know if i need to apply to go back.???

  7. no, you do not need to do anything, it is your home country, you may just return without informing anyone,

    i too, lived in another country and went back home,

    without asking, it is your right to return home.
