  5. Your best bet would be to go the Spanish embassy in India and ask them. You definitley should be entitled to become a Spanish citizen as you were born them. You could probably gain Indian citizenship too if you have lived there for most of your formative years.

  6. What if someone was born on a boat in international waters?  What would their nationality be then?  I could be wrong, but I would guess where you are born does not matter.  The citizenship of your parents should dictate your nationality.

  7. First step is to verify if you are a citizen. You may want to read the Spanish constitution - with the help of an interpreter. That's usually where you'll find the definition of a citizen. If you are a citizen, go to nearest Spanish Embassy or consulate to obtain documents to submit and requirements to fullfill. Bring your birth certificate or any documents to support your claim.

  8. To be absolutely sure check with the Spanish Consolata  in the country are are in at this time.

  9. yes

  10. idk!

  11. My daughter gave birth to a baby girl in Malaga last June.  My daughter is British and the baby's father is Italian.  She has been told that her baby is not a Spanish citizen, and that she should get a British or/and an Italian passport for her.

  12. Yes, you have a right to your spanish citizenship.. Visit your local Spanish Embassy or Consulate in India.. Call or email them and they will be able to help you..

  13. I would suggest you contact a Spanish Embassy with your questions. I would not give them your real name. I'm pretty sure that if you were in Spain with your birth certificate (maybe the one issued by government and not the hospital) you could get the DNI (documento nacional de identidad) and with that the passport. This is my supposition but I would definitely inquire with embassy. It would have been good to know what nationality your parents have and in what country you are right now to give you better information.
