I was born on August 18th. Would I be considered a Leo/Virgo cusp

I tend to show the characteristics of both and I have read many different date sets for the cusps.

Have you ever heard the saying - "You can't be just alittle pregnant, either you are or you aren't."  Well - you can't be born on "a cusp" - there is no such thing - either the sun was in Leo or Virgo when you were born, it can't be in 2 places at once.  You have to check an astrological chart for the date/time you were born to make sure. It is possible that you can show characteristics from several different signs - sometimes your moon sign can be just as strong as the sun, also ascending sign can have strong influences.  I'm a scorpio with moon in saggitarius - I show characteristics of both signs.  You should just go and get your chart done if you're interested.

Yes, you can be on the cusp, and this is nothing like pregnancy, because there aren't cycles with 12 different types of pregnancy. No.  Pregnancy is linear, there is a beginning and an end, whereas astrology is cyclical, so you can be born in a transitional period.  You would techinically be leo, but you would have a lot of virgo traits and should take them into consideration when looking at horoscopes.  Cusps exist, there are not definite lines between the signs.  Sure there are on charts, but that's just to make it easier for us to understand, they all blend and fade together around the edges.  You were born in one of these hazy periods.

my birthday is october 28, i'm about four days after the cusp... but i'm a scorpio.

i have some libra traits, and you may have some virgo traits, but we aren't as screwed up as most of the cuspers are. my mom is a virgo/libra cusp... good lord. she's insane. be thankful you aren't one of them.
