I was training at my local ground, i play for a club called spirit fc but my homeground is too far away for just training. so the alternative is this park where a club team trains. i was shooting when a guy came over and asked my what club i played for. i simply replyed spirit... he later went on to say i had to get my **** out of the goalmouth... i would tear up the turf and spirit doesnt train here. Its the local coucils ground.... shouldnt i be able to use it for training???

  1. i can solve your problem, join that club closer to your house, the bloke was in the right, if its their ground, why would he want you around, even if you didn't tear up the turf, clubs pay to use the grounds, they pay the council.

i have coached junior footy in Aussie rules football, if other kids from another team were training at our ground when i was there i would tell them to beat it too.

  2. that's tight

go to the council and complain.

  3. poor you

    sory about that hun!!

  4. hmmm.

when another club are training it's not really fair to train on their ground.

although, if it's the councils, i don't see why not.

the dude was a bit unfair on you though, he could have reasoned with you!

  5. Why don't you ask the council if that team has the ground permanently booked or something?
