I was detain for having airsoftguns?

i was detain for having airsoftguns... here's the story... my friend wanted to by an airsoftgun of me but he didn't have the money so me and him went down to the bank to get some. so we take our bikes down to the bank, and my friend jest realized that he still had it with him so he gave it to me (i was waiting in the parking lot for him) and he whent in side, well the brinks guy called the cops and we bolth got stoped and brought in (they let me ride in the frount seat tho). i was very co-opperitive. the cops kept saying that i wasent brakeing the law (well if i wasent brakin a law then they have no resion to hold me. right???). they called my parents and let me go...

well i want to know if im stuck with any chrages and will i get the airsoftguns back or my blade???

this happend to my friend tho it was a park he was picked up at.

he didnt get his gun back

You probably won't get charged with anything but they'll probably hold onto your things...

There was no reason to detain you or to take your toy or knife since you were not doing anything wrong.  You probably won't get either of them back cause the reason the took them in the first place is probably cause one of the cops wanted them.  The Brinks guy was in the wrong too, and the cops SHOULD have told him you were not committing a crime left after seeing it was an airsoft gun.  There is no reason, nor crime, in an honest citizen taking a gun to the bank, unless the bank has a sign posted saying firearms are not allowed.  Even then, it only applies if you take it inside and does NOT apply to a toy.

Depends upon how old you are.  Chances are you will not get your blade back, but your parents could get your air-soft gun back.  

You probably do not have any charges.

You are lucky, people (guards, cops, etc) get very nervous when they see someone with what appears to be a gun near a bank.  You are lucky that some hot-shot did not shoot first and ask questions later.  Consider it a lesson learned.

Have fun with your air-soft at the proper places, parks, fields, or your family farm.  My son and I do.

well they can hold you for up to 24 hours, they do however have to contact your parents, most likely you won't get your guns or knife back, although you might if your parents were to request them, however they would be surrendered to your parents not you, and your parents may or may not give them to you, if they have probable cause but no case they can hold you up to 72 hours to try to obtain evidence, you were in possession of a weapon that only an adult was allowed to have so they did have a reason to arrest and try you although they probably won't press charges.

Wow your a regular genius aren't ya?  Airsoft guns look like real guns, so they treated you like potential bank robbers.  If you were charged with something they would have told you.  Sounds like they let you go since it was a misunderstanding, but next time think before you do something so stupid, your lucky you didn't get shot.
