They told me they had video and other electronic evidence that pinpointed me. After I filled out all the paperwork they escorted me out of the store, and didn't give me any copies of the information that I fileld out. Is this legal, and if not, can anyone give me advice that can help me fight them in court?

  1. Yes they have the right to order you off the premises but they have to give you a reason.  If they report you to police then you will have trouble getting a another job.  They probably won't though cuz it would look bad to them.  But yes you did wrong and they can even throw you in jail if they want to.  You really weren't supposed to fill out any paperwork.  THat is their job.

  2. Yep.

  3. You are lucky they did not press charges.

  4. If you didn't do it, you should not have signed ANYTHING. I would consult an attorney, Legal Services or a paralegal for advice.

  5. yes it's legal... if they have evidence & u did it i wouldn't fight it in court.
