I was fired for taking care of sick children.?

I have been working for a temp agency since June 30 and they fired me because I have had to miss a few days because my kids have been sick. I have Doctor notes from all the times I have missed. Can I collect unemployment benefits? I live in Texas.

Doubtful. Temp agency work usually isn't covered by Texas state U/E law.

Apply; all they can do is say no.
