  1. With your typing skills I'm surprised you got a $5,000 monthly salary.  It depends on your employer's policy and you can find out from HR.

When I had a job that paid on the 15th/30th of the month - they took my annual salary and split that into 24 equal paychecks.  It didn't matter how many days or hours I worked, as long as I was employed when the 15th or 30th came I got that check.  If I wasn't on the payroll on those days, then I didn't get a check.

If this is the case for your former employer - then no, you would not have gotten a check because you were a salaried employee  - and your income was the same reguardless of how many days or weeks you worked.

Either way - you need to talk to HR or your old boss to find out how your former employer works.

  2. Many companies cut you a check when you leave.  Did they not give you a final check on the 11th?

If not, then oyu should get 11 day's pay.  If your paychecks were two weeks behind then you might be entitled to 11 dyas plus half of the previous month.

All depends on your pay cycles.

  3. Normally when fired they pay you when they call you in then escort you to the door so they never need to see you again. You should have also gotten any accrued vacation pay. Call them.
