I was found intentionally homeless by my council. I have now been living in private flat with my 2 children for 7 months my landlord is now selling the flat can i go back to the council and make a new homeless application.

  1. Well I'm not from the UK, but logically, when situations change, it would be permissible to do so, the only issue I could foresee would be a time period between applications, and I don't know what that would be or how long its been.


  2. Make sure you make application for internet access, too.

  3. yeah you can as long as you have proof that hes selling and the date he wants you out, unfortunately tho  most councils wont help you until the day your on the street, you should go to the CAB they will do their best to help you through the process, good luck

  4. YES. Although it wouldn't hurt to try to find another flat yourself. The council should make a new assessment based on your current circumstances. In any case there is nothing to stop you making an application - don't disqualify yourself by not going.

  5. if you're on low income like us you can apply for a council house, it's a bit hard though but sometimes if you have children they will kick it faster
