I have a lovely patio that gets lots of sun if that would be sufficient.

  1. You don't say whether you are in the UK or not. If you are its a bit dodgy putting them out at the moment, as there are still frosts, and this will just kill them off. You really need to harden them off during the daytime out in the sunshine, and bring them indoors in the evening.

Once all risk of frost has gone they can go out, and planted in the position that you wish them to grow permanently, they will then be able to generate enough new root growth and settle by next winter. In winter you can protect them with a plant fleece which you can get from your local garden centre.

  2. You also have to make sure the soil is suitable. They need an ericaceous (sic) mixture. Ask at your local garden centre.

  3. since they are in green house now you need to harden them first. Start for an hour on sun than slowly increase the period outside so that it will be hard enough to tolerate outside
