My boss is the owner of this bonsai. He travels constantly and has caused the Bonsai to lose almost all it's leaves. He gave it to me to bring back to life. The bonsai would be located in the reception area of an office. There are a couple of windows but not where my desk is. What do i do?

  1. The tendency is to water, water and water, however it is very easy to over water causing root rot. He traveled and thus it was probably just the opposite, a lack of water. A small bonsai plant indoors, will be fine with a cup or two of water per week. As long as the soil is damp, rather than sopping wet.

  3. Bonsai's are made by restricting the root system. Possibly re-pot the tree and use better soil, maybe with some fertilizer in it.  If this doesn't help take the  plant to  your local lowes plant specialist. He or she may be alble to help you.Godd luck

  4. make sure it doesn't get any sunshine. don't give too much water. prepare water 1 day prior watering. Use it the next day.
