  1. When the amount is that small, there's no harm in telling people. You might get a few wisecracks however. When there are larger amounts, I live by the rule, say nothing to anyone and take care of # 1 (you) first.

  2. yes it shows integrity and it's not much money so you have nothing to lose and points to gain from whom ever gave you the ticket.

  3. who cares its only 18 bucks

  4. Tell them so that they can be happy that their cheap, usually worthless gift actually turned into something valuable.

  5. Don't tell anyone! People might come begging for a share, and next thing you know you'll be left with only $17

  6. I'm thinking you will be safe from the money hungry crowd with $18. Happy B-Day

  7. If it was only $18 I think its fine to tell them, just be like 'Oh my gosh, you are so awesome! You know that ticket you gave me? Well I won $18!"

they should be happy for you!

  8. $18.00!!! Oh my goodness. You can tell that. If it would have been about a mill then they would have come out of the woodwork. Still whatever amount it is, it's your money anyway.

  9. It's $18. Tell them, and they will be happy.

  10. A gift is yours to keep.

  11. It's just $18. Why not tell people? It's not like it's that much money. People aren't going to be begging you for money when you've won such a small amount.
