We just had an earthquake here in Illinois. It shook the house for about 30 seconds then stopped and we had an aftershock about 5 hours later. I was going to head to St. Louis for the weekend, but changed my mind about heading closer to the epicenter area of the quake. Now where should I go for a nice weekend alone?

  1. look up some b&b's online.

I would say the east side of lake michigan, there are some darling Bed and breakfasts there.

you would see beautiful sunsets over the water...

it would be like being in Cali, but your not...

  2. go up to the lacrosse wi area.  lots to see and do...

  3. Well don't ever come to Alaska, we have earthquakes every day, numerous times a day.  But most are so small you can't feel them.

Hope you didn't have any damage to your home.  How far north are you thinking of going?

    Wisconsin & Minnesota's pretty nice.
