“I was happy that Ryan Braun was not found guilty,” says Los Angeles Dodgers’ outfielder Matt Kemp
It seems everyone is happy for National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Milwaukee Brewers’ left-fielder Ryan Braun over his win against a 50-game suspension appeal.
Ryan Braun has recently been involved in Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED) controversy and won the appeal against his 50-game suspension by MLB late Friday night.
Recently, many Major League players, officials and some executive have made comments in the media about Ryan Braun and his win over the possible charges which could have also damaged his sporting career on moral grounds.
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ outfielder Matt Kemp is the first one, who spoke official in the media and told reporters that he is relieved after hearing of Braun’s verdict as he will not have to serve the 50-game suspension this season.
Kemp said, “I was happy that he was not found guilty, I know he's been going through a lot. Now, he and the Brewers can concentrate on just playing baseball, going about their business. I'm sure I'll see him in spring training; I don't know how any of that works. I don't get into any of that, man.”
Later Clayton Kershaw said for Braun, "Sometimes when you hear that people appeal, as a player, you just kind of assume there's no chance, To see it be overturned, you know there's some hope if that there are mistakes, you do have a chance."
Apart from commenting in the media about Ryan Braun and his winning appeal, Kemp is busy in Arizona practicing in Spring Training ahead of next Major League Baseball season. During the talking sessions with the reporters, Kemp also told them he feels firm about his club’s winning chances next season. Kemp was pretty pleased over his entire team’s preparations ahead of 2012 MLB season.
Not only Kemp, but the entire Dodgers’ management is looking in good spirits and is looking forward for the upcoming big event. The Dodgers are also very close to have new ownership after facing bankruptcy issues and as soon as they resolved all these late issues, they will be coming up with more aggression.
