I was hit by a coors beer truck, what type of settlement can I hope to get?

This is without taking them to court. I have been to the er room, they took x-rays, and examined me. I have one more doctor's visit, what type of settlement can I expect?

As long as you got a police report at the time of the incident you should get a really good setlement, being hit by a truck of that size. Especially since they are corporate owned not just one particular person.

You never know. My wife's car was emptied on by a soda company's truck (they left the door open, cans everywhere) going around a corner and they denied it until we got a lawyer. Expect, I would say, the minimum.

You don't say what your actual damages are, so it sounds like you are looking for a jackpot.  If there are no permanent injuries, you will be lucky to be offered expenses and damages you experienced, plus $2,500.

I suggest if there were injuries you would be telling us the results of the medical examination.

The size of the vehicle hitting you matters not, only the damage suffered.  A motor bike can kill you just as dead as a semi if it hits you hard enough.

They would definitely be obliged to pay for your damages and medical bills, and might throw in some extra money to get you off of their case, but you won't be getting some $100,000 settlement. It's not like you had your leg crushed and will be left with life changing disabilities.

It sounds like they dented and scratched your car and shook you up a bit, nothing serious, especially since your car isn't totaled.

And don't settle for a lifetime supply of Coors, the taste would cripple you.

first you are super stupid for not getting a lawyer, because you do not and will not get nothing compared to what a law firm can get you. most companies especially commercial ones stay out of court (bad for public image) i do not know what type of injuries you sustained but please take my advice go to a lawyer. do not do anything which will jepordize what may be a very good lawsuit.
