  1. The truth is, it depends on too many variables. The weights of both vehicles, the type of material both cars are made of and tires on your cars quality,

If someone gives you a formula and there are some out there but it wont be accurate.  he was probably doing 40 to 45

  2. Without more information you will not be able to figure this out, the police might be able to give you an estimate only if you press them for it, hope that you are okay............

  3. What did the cars weigh?

What was the road surface made out of?

What was the temperature of the surfacing material?

    What type cars were involved?

  4. You can only figure it out if you need to know the weights of both vehicles.

Ex:  a truck traveling at 50 mph will push you much farther than a small VW traveling at the same speed.

    Good Luck...

  5. you will have to the weight of the two cars the grade of the road the surface of the road the breaking effort applied by the other driver the weather conditions the angles that the cars impacted any modifications made to the cras and then you can plug them into a formula to get a close estimate

    goodluck

  6. You need to Know the mass of both vehicles, the coefficent of friction of both vehicles, the road surface conditions under both vehicles, the air temp and relative humidity at the time of collision.
