In 9th grade I was homeschooled, and my high school had told me, "You're not our responsibility anymore. You're on your own." Aren't they supposed to give me a transcript or something?

  1. If you weren't there long enough to complete a semester, you have nothing to put on a high school transcript. Your folks should make you a transcript.

  2. Why don't you ask your parents for a transcript?

  3. If you were homeschooled your parents were supposed to keep your transcript.  The school should release your permanent record to you if you ask, but that will only go up to 8th grade if you started homeschool in 9th.  Transcripts run from 9th to 12th, and your parents should have kept records.  Even if they didn't, if you think carefully about what you studied, you should be able to compile one, your parents sign it, and then with that and your SAT or ACT scores you can apply to college like anyone else.

  4. all you have to do is call the school and ask for a copy of the transcript from when you were there.

  5. CALL THE SCOOL ITS SELF AND TELL THEM U NEED IT MAYBE THEY WILL LET U COME IN AND PICK IT UP,YOU MAY NEED TO TELL THEM UR GRAD YEAR.

  6. If you were home schooled the high school has no transcripts to give you.  How would they know what your mom taught you or how well you did?

  7. When you're homeschooled (unless it's through a charter school), your parents keep your transcript.  The school has no say in your education when you're homeschooled, so they have no way to provide a transcript.

  8. No.  You were not there to create a transcript and therefore don't get one.
