I did D&C 3 days ago. Can i get pregnant again?.In how many months should I try? I am Vegetarian. What should I eat to strengthen my body and prepare for next preg? i do not want to lose my next one...What are the precautions I should take. Please suggest any good website which would guide me on healthy pregnancy. Do you advice me to go to a fertility specialist? When should I decide on going to a fertility specialist?

  1. I'm really sorry that you lost your child.

Everyone is different. You need to check with your doctor about the next steps and trying to conceive again... no one's advice on here is safe for you to take as they do not have your health records and history.

  2. i am very sorry for your loss!  my heart truly goes out to you!  but know that just because you lose a child doesn't mean that you need to see a specialist.  sometimes it just happens!  your cycle immediately following a miscarriage is actually the easiest time to get pregnant.  your body is already still slightly prepared.  check out babycenter.com.  there is a wealth of information there, as well as message boards to ask any questions you have.  there are boards for those who have lost babies as well, so they can offer you a ton of support.  the women there can help you figure out exactly what you need to do because they've been there and done that.  best wishes for you, and again i am so sorry for your loss.

  3. I am so sorry for your loss.  You didn't mention if you had any history of previous miscarriages, so I'm assuming this is your first one.  It is very important that you know that the miscarriage is not the result of something you did (or didn't) do.  It simply happens sometimes.

Let your body and your mind rest and heal a bit before you attempt to get pregnant again.  If this was your first miscarriage, it is unlikely you need to see a fertility specialist.

If you don't already have it, I recommend "What to Expect When You're Expecting" - it's a great, basic book on pregnancy that all expectant moms should read.  They have a website too - www.whattoexpect.com

    Good luck to you

  4. Sorry for your loss.  There's many factors could lead to miscarriage esp. the first 3 months when the fetus is still developing and very fragile. Reasons could be malnutrition to uterus malformation to any medication you taken to even some vigorous exercise. And stress could be one factor, too. You might need to talk to your OB/GYN to find out a reasonable cause of it and she might not even able to tell.

Now you need to take good care of yourself first before thinking to conceive again. Try to take a multi-vitamin a day to get your body ready.
