  1. LoL... from who?  God for creating snow?

You were driving too fast for conditions- the only money your going to get for injuries is any medical coverage you have on your policy or any health insurance you have.

  2. Well it depends. If you live in a no fault state that requires PIP you can file under you policy for your PIP benefits, aka personal injury benefits. They usually cover 80% of your medical bills and 60% of lost wages, but you would want to verify this on your policy and with your carrier regarding what is required in the state you live. Regardless of liability, this coverage is afforded to you (even if you are at fault). Some states, such as Georgia, are not no fault states. They offer an optional coverage call medical payments. You can choose the value of your med pay coverage from 250 to 5000 dollars. This coverage, again, if you have it is available to you regardless of liability. My suggestion is that you review your policy jacket. The adjuster who handled you claim should have gone over your coverages with you at the beginning of the claims process (and they should have asked you if you were injured). Each states also has a different statute of limitation regarding how long you can wait before you will no longer be able to file a claim. Again my recommendation is check with your agent, claims adjuster or read your policy jacket.

  3. No.

The slush on the road was a hazard to be seen.

You lost control of your vehicle.

You are at fault for the accident.

    Your negligence caused your injuries.

    You incurred the medical bills.

You are responsible for paying the medical bills.

There is no one for you to sue.

If your policy has medical payments coverage or PIP (personal injury protection) your policy may be able to help you with the dr bills. These coverages do not pay for pain and suffering. In some states, these coverages are optional - so you may not have them.  Call the adjuster that handled your claim and ask them.

Barring that, no other source of recovery.

Sometimes c**p happens and you don't get paid for it.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

  4. NO. Money from who -- God? Or do you actually think George Bush made it snow that day...

    Sheeeze...

  5. They will only pay medical bills if you have medical coverage on your policy.  Ask if you have medical coverage.  If not, if has to go under your health insurance.
