  1. Wow, just maybe sit in the boat (with someone you trust) Just let it barely into the water, to where its still half on the bank.  Baby steps...  Then maybe the next day a little farther.  Before you know it you'll be enjoying the waters again, maybe even more.  Good luck.

  2. face ur fears but take it one step at a time

  3. Try motor racing. Flipping is much more exciting and you won't get wet

  4. not go back

  5. If you are thinking about going back, because you want to, then I suggest that you do it.  are you a good swimmer?  If you fear something, you need to face it.  Take whatever steps are necessary to accomplish what you want to do.  Fear is just an emotion which can be faced and you can get through that and move onto to more experiences in that boat.

  6. conquer your fear....learn more about your accident so you can avoid it later on....good luck

  7. go back in, where were u when it flipped most places make u where life jackets so stick w/ that- when u decide to go back in go to a pool first and like get use to the water- but if you dont want to go back in the water dont do what u dont want to do

  8. What, exactly, are you afraid of? Are you afraid of going back in a boat? Afraid of the water?

How did you get out from under the flipped boat? You obviously did, or you wouldn't be asking this question, so was it a self-rescue, or did someone help you? What caused the accident? Speed? Lack of skill? Alcohol?

The reason for all these questions is to help you think the event through. What happened to cause the accident, and how could it have been prevented? Was it anything you did, or was someone else responsible?

If it's something you did, you have learned a valuable lesson. If someone else was at fault, you've learned another lesson - be wary of who you go out with, just as you are in cars. I'm sure you know some people whose driving you don't like -- or who DUI, so you don't drive with them. Treat a boat the same way.

Look on your accident as a lucky warning, and find the lesson in it, so it won't happen again.
