  1. That's impossible for anyone else to say.  We're not in your shoes.  We don't know how this might affect your life, your livelihood, etc.

You might consider finding a lawyer who handles automotive injury cases, and see what they think.  I would interview several, and don't forget to ask what they charge and how they get paid if they win or don't win.  Get references from each one, and call the references to see what they say.  If you haven't already, you should see your doctor to see if there is any long-term issues that you might be dealing with - aside from the loss of sensitivity, of course.

You sound like someone who's not out to try to get rich on this, and I applaud that.  But you do deserve some amount of compensation for your loss.  It's worth following up on this to see what that might work out to be.

  2. You need to be more specific regarding your injury and claimed disability/permanency.  What exactly was your injury?  What kind of treatment did you undergo?  I have never heard of permanent loss of sensitivity to the knee, and I have handled hundreds of knee injury claims.  Do you have medical documentation in support of our permanency?  When did the accident occur?  How long did you treat?  Did you miss time from work?  If so, how many weeks.  What are your total meds and lost wages?

NH is a pretty conservative venue.  You will get at least your medicals and wages.  Without having your medical records there is no way anybody can tell you how much your claim is worth.

  3. Mike B, I suggest you locate a local car insurance agent to help. Since I live in South Carolina I can't suggest an agent in New Hampshire, but here is an website that can help you. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Auto-Ins...
