  1. CDA classes are available. The Child Development Associate(CDA) National Credentialing Program is a national program.  I believe you are required to take 120 hours of training so you can apply for a CDA credential.

You may have an Early Childhood Alliance in your area that would be able to help you.

    Good Luck.

  2. It would depend on where you live and what kind of center you want to work in. I am a HeadStart teacher which requires an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. We are also required to attend 20 hours of workshops etc each year. There are also certificate and diploma programs in the Early Childhood field. Most Daycare centers require a high school diploma but prefer a minimum of 6 months experience also. I am in SC and these requirements vary from state to state but the education and screening requirements are getting stricter and stricter. If you want to work in a quality facility I definitely suggest getting at least an AA degree and going somewhere where that is a requirement.

  3. You would need a childhood diploma and a license.A lot of patience and understanding with children.

  4. you need to be nice and show people you care about their children, no matter how crazy they are. you also can't have a criminal record of any kind. you also have to be dedicated. kids can, AND WILL drive you crazy. take them to fun land, or a play ground once in a while. try not to force them into any thing, but show them you are in charge.you also have to be fair. and if someone is scared, be friendly. and when the kids go to elementary, they'll thank you because they have learned to be fair and kind.ya also need a lisnses

  5. It depends where you are from.  Every country is different.

  6. after-school daycare or in-school daycare.u need a liscense

  7. You need to go to college and at least achieve an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.   Beware though, they don't earn much money.   Instead, I suggest you go after a 4 year degree (Bachelor's) and major in Elementary Education where you'll earn much more money teaching.

  8. Pre-school teacher likely needs a degree in early childhood education. An assistant pre-school teacher needs only the training a specific preschool requires. A day care owner/manager needs to be licensed, but she can hire any individual she considers qualified. There are government run classes to earn a license.

  9. To be a certified preschool teacher in the state of NJ, you need a teaching certification in Preschool-3rd Grade, or a Nursery certification.  Both require either a college degree with a major in early education, or a bachelor's degree and 1 year of full time teaching experience with school provided classes by the school district (alternate route).

If you are looking to teach in a private day care facility, WITHOUT being state certified, most in NJ require a high school diploma and/or CDA (child development) classes.

In addition to the education, you need to possess extreme patience and creativity!!  Good luck!

  10. To be a teacher at any level of teaching you must first have the college background showing that you have your Master's degree and to become a Daycare provider or someone who does daycare is the paperwork and licensing and of course the visit and scrutinizing of your home.
