I was hired last Sunday at Subway and my first day is tomorrow. I am really excited to work there but I have a few questions as to what I will be doing my first couple of days. First of all I know the cash register is my first job so is it easy to run? Also what kind of prep goes into making the meatballs or tuna fish? And is the tomato slicer easy to use? And lastly any pointers on how to wrap up one of the Subway wraps? Thanks for your input!

  1. They'll give you very specific directions on how to do everything. Don't worry. It's SUBWAY. Not rocket science. You'll be fine.

  2.   You  will  know  everything  in  due  time  and  you  are  what  call  you  call  worker  in  training  ,everything  is  pre-made and  all  you  have  to  is  put  it  all  together  and  someone  will  work and  train  you  how  to  work  it  all  for  the  next  few  days  and  show  you  how  to  wrap  the  proper way,,,,,,,relax  you  are  in  good  hands.

  3. I'm pretty sure you will go over all of that in your training! Don't sweat it!

  4. i had tons of questions when i first got hired. i was actually kinda worried, but trust me, go in with an empty mind and when you go through training you'll gradually know everything.

my fast time mkaing a sandwich was nerve racking with the people staring at you, but thats because im not much of a people person. if youre familiar with how subway works by being a usual customer then you should have a general idea of what should be done.
