Okay so I know it seems weird, but I've been bored lately and browsing the internet, and I just had a few questions because I found a list of Concentration Camps/Internment Camps here in america that have just recently been renovated, and well, there where a lot of them that had recently been updated. Is there a reason for this??? Do we have a lot of uses for Internment/Concentration Camps?

  1. I think I read somewhere where the Japanese camps were/are being renovated as museums.

  2. I think they might use them for summer camps where obese teenage kids go to lose weight.

  3. During WW2 we did. People with German and Japanese background were rounded up and placed into concentration camps. In Calf. many got screwed out of best farm land in the country, because they couldn't pay the taxes, but it was for national security.

  4. There's no such thing as either concentration camps or internment camps in the USA. The only functioning internment camp is in Cuba.

There have not been internment camps since WWII, and the only ones of those that can still be found are open as museums.

You need to avoid any website that gibbers on about black helicopters.

EDIT..... Richards-Gebaur has had over 80% of its land transferred to civilian use, including the entire airfield. Missouri is developing a major intermodal transit hub there, with hundreds of domestic and international companies already either signed up or in negotiations. (Mazda's primary North American hub has already been signed up)

About 20% of the camp remains military - almost all as reserve training areas, so 'citizen soldiers' from all over the country will also be making short stops there and taking stories of what they see home with them.

The whole facility is going to be a hive of visitors and workers from all over the world. A LESS private and secluded spot to hide an "internment camp" would be hard to imagine.

There is a lot of construction going on at R-G.... but none of it is an internment camp. Like I said - avoid the "black helicopter" websites.

  5. yeah, to torture the people that the government doesn't like. We are all after these other countries for committing crimes against humanity, when we are doing even worse ourselves.

  6. I've heard about that and I don't like it.
