I was looking at prince charles nd the woman today!!?

they were in northern ireland tasting wine and eating buns nd stuff, Can someone tell me why the whole of the british isles pay them tax for them too swan about like free loaders . . i would see past it if they actually made difficult choices on how this country is run? any1 else got an opinion on this??

They can't make those decisions..they're just figure heads.

--As to getting paid to attend these functions...Why dose Paris Hilton  get paid to show up at a party?

Charles does not receive tax payer money,but he earns an income form the Duchy of Cornwall,a very successful organic-goods enterprise.And Charles has always paid his taxes.

As to tax payer money and the Queen: she uses that money to pay all of the people who work for her.

Yeah - they really do lead a very privileged lifestyle - whether we contribute a little or a lot in terms of direct taxes / they have an enormous percentage of land and property which has been acquired over generations all for which the general public has had to sacrifice in one way or another.

I understand as an 'institution' they generate income for the country via tourists and tourism etc.- However I am with you on this one and at a lost to see why they are afforded much extraordinary luxury, simply by way of birth, they are not representative of the people and seem to generally do as they please.

Bring on a revolution !!!!

Get your facts right before posting statements like this,Prince Charles does not receive any tax money, he pays taxes like anyone else.
