  1. The watery eyes and snot are probably "clamidia"...A very common virus that she'll get over in a few days...The upside is that once she's gotten it (it's like a bad cold to you or me), she won't get it again..

Every cat has worms...It's our job as their caretakers to get them wormed twice a year so that they can absorb all the nutrition that we give them...

Please plan a trip to the vet for shots and deworming...And don't worry so much about the watery eyes... :-)

    Good luck !

  2. I think you should bring the cat to the vet and maybe if its really sick they will put it to sleep.

  3. As the old saying states, you get what you pay for.

It could be serious, but it could just be a common cold, known as cat flu. There are many degrees and levels of cat flu. A simply baby cough syrup could do the trick. Have a look through the homoeopathic range or Bach Flower remedies. These usually work wonders on animals.

Think back where you got the kitten from, whether the environment was clean and did you see the mother. What kind of condition was the mother in when you picked her up? What are you feeding the kitten? Your kitten most likely has worms and fleas, which you can treat holistically by adding raw garlic and sunflower seeds, including lecithin to boost the immune system. Worms and fleas however do not provide watery eyes nor snot in her nose.

The kitten is probably weak and in need of some serious nutrition, minerals and vitamins. Provide a cosy and comfortable place for her, so she can rest and gain her strength. It is difficult to give accurate advice on little information. Depending on her age, kitten milk may still be required.

  4. It sounds like cat flu, so you need to take her to the vet. Cats can die of cat flu.

  5. Well what did you think was going to happen? You looked for a cat you wouldn't have to pay for. Newsflash, cats need food, housing, medical care etc. They aren't second hand toys you get at a yardsale that are basically free and don't require any maintenance. She has an upper respiratory infection. Those need to be treated with antibiotics.

Basically, you need to get her to the vet.

  6. take her to the vet

  7. Look in the phone book for vets and ask friends and family for recommendations. All vets accept cats though, if that is what you are asking.
