learn about government, because when i grow up id like to be a politician. so if anyone has any suggestions about countries or foreign exchange student programs thatd be great, thanks :]

  1. The thing is that it will take you some time to adjust, not just culturally, but politically as well. For example, the terms "conservative" and "liberal" imply totally different connotations than in the US. It would probably be easiest if you went to an english speaking country (UK would be helpful, with parliament and all). Also smaller countries with less centralized government would be interesting (think Denmark..ect. because its basically formatted like our state government and the political involvement per capita is much greater/people are much more involved.) Try to figure out when elections are held in these different countries. That is usually very different. Also, of course, try to stay near a capitol.
