  1. no it's not ok at all, jordan is so expensive country, it's ranked as 19 in the top expensive countries, fuel is 1$/litre, renting a small flat will cost u 100-150 JD/month, the level of poverty in jordan is 600 JD/ month, also food is expensive, the food allowance offered is nothing, hope to find a better opportunity. 2. Jordan is becoming increasingly expensive to live in...As a foreigner who is used to going out to eat, movies, and other entertainment you will spend more money than most Jordanians. If you are single it could be manageble...but I think you wont be able to save as much as you would if you lived abroad. The appliances and other products are of a  cheaper standard unless you spend big bucks. If I were you buy your electronics before traveling to Jordan, I think you get better models for the price abroad. A decent apartment will run about 150-200 dnars a month, but its nothing fancy.
