  1. its very addicting as is alcohol, i regret starting...its so hard to stop no matter what you think. good job on saying no. find some people to hang with that dont smoke, they will be just as fun to hang with

  2. you're new, it's illegal and im sure if you all were caught they'd put it all on you. it's not worth the trouble so stick to your answer. "a persuaded fool is a wise sucker."

  3. lol @ people being addicted to mary jane. honestly i did it for 2 years in high school, i wasnt addicted, it just made s*x much better. i stopped, and havent done it since. i mean everyone experiments, and of course people are going to tell you not to do it, but if you are curious go ahead. its your life. but its not the best choice to make...

  4. No stay away from them...You are just headed for trouble if you do things like that. Not only that it it HORRIBLE for your health!I am also in FL and sadly some parts are known to be bad.We have gangs everwhere and I would suggest that you don't hang out with them

But than again I am not your mother.I cannot tell you what to do.This is your life so you need to choose what to do with it.

  5. i smoked marijuana when i was 15... quit when i was 21.... i didn't do it very often.. but it can suck you in if you don't know how to control it....

    just stay away.

  6. why is this in the parenting section?

You absolutely don't want to become friends with drug addicted alcoholics.  Then you're "guilty by association" and everyone is going to think you're a loser too.  Don't choose that crowd as friends.  You're at an age where small mistakes can haunt you for years.  Go to college and find new friends.

  7. It's all really up to you. Since your new here, make sure you choose your friends carefully. You dont want to get involved with the wrong type of friends, because that's usually just the path to trouble. Choose wisely, and in the end it's still just up to you. Being that you are 18, i'm sure you know right from wrong.

  8. Don't do anything you don't want to do. I'm 17 and I smoke weed occasionally by choice but I would never let anyone pressure me into anything and neither should you.

If you want to do it, I'm not going to tell you "Don't, it's bad for you!" because it's your decision but if you don't want to do it then just say no. If people think less of you because you refuse, ignore them because in actuality you're the bigger person for not giving into peer pressure.

I'd also like to point out that marijuana IS NOT physically addicting like other drugs. Incase anyone answers this telling you it is, it isn't. The only addiction you are likely to get from marijuana is psychological (meaning you WANT it, you don't NEED it) or an addiction to tobacco if you smoke it with tobacco.

Again, don't do it if you don't want to.

Edit: wow there are some judgemental people on here. Calling them "drug addicted alcoholics" is a bit extreme, no? Like I said, I smoke weed and I'm a straight A student and I'm certainly not a loser.

The fact that I smoke weed doesn't define who I am as a person and if you want to be friends with these people but don't want to smoke weed you just have to be strong enough to refuse it. I would suggest you don't hang out with them though because you're likely to get bored when they're getting high. Besides, they're 16 - I'm sure you can find people of your own age that aren't into doing these things.

Still, I just wanted to point out not everyone that does weed is a loser and not everyone will go on to harder  drugs.

  9. wow this sounds just like me back in the day. i moved to the town when i was 15 found that group and didnt want to be lonely so i just joined in. worst thing i ever did. their are better positive people to hang out with
