Are we Americans still going nuts over politics? How is Palin doing? What about the latest polls.

lol, palin has been uncovered as a not so hot pick for mccain.  Apparently, he was trying to get lieberman or tom ridge.  When he leaked it to try and feel it out, he got warned they would both be rejected by the delegates of the party at convention.  

So he went back and was considering romney or pawlenty but then his campaign crew came back and said they were too predictable and he needed a shake up to get him on the right track to win.  

So he met with palin and offered her the job right there.  He didnt get anyone to look into her background or anything for another week- 2 days before announcing her as the VP nominee.  So recently, weve all learned she has a 17 year old daughter thats 5 months pregnant, she is being investigated for legislative ethics, for 2 years she was part of the alaska independence party that at various times sought a vote on succession from the union, he husband has been arrested for drunk driving in the past, and some other stuff.  

So the pick is looking rushed and a bit like it could be a mistake.  McCain needs to give some kind of a statement or something to address it or it is going to look like she was a mistake to a lot of people.  Man, I hope he doesnt s***w this up and let obama get elected.
