I was playing backgamon my opponenhad two chips on bar and she wouldn't roll. After about 5 mi?

I was playing backgammon and put 2 of my opponents chips on the bar & she wouldn't roll. After about 5 minutes a sign came up saying that I lost the game. How can that be?

There are quite often glitches with these games, so that is probably what it was.  If you are in a similar situation again, pay particular attention to make sure you have done everything you are supposed to do to let the play continue.

wouldn't or couldn't roll?  my initial guess would be that she couldn't roll, the game was waiting on you to roll, and since you didn't roll in five minutes you forfeited!

if you had your home board covered and you opponent was on the bar, she, of course, couldn't move.  apart from that, it was simply a glitch.
