I was prescribed 30 Lunesta June 11th. I tried to get a refill today, and there is none

What gives? The doctor made a follow up appointment after 90 days, but only gave me a 30 day supply.

I've got an Ambien rx like that. I'm only supposed to take it when I really need it....which is always. I'm also supposed to take half the pill. Did your doctor mention anything like that? I use Nyquil to help fill in some nights for the Ambien. Call the doctor if the pharmacy won't send him/her a request to refill it for you. Good luck

That's probably because he felt you should only take them for 30 days.  It's never good to take sleeping aids for long periods of time.  They're usually used to break the no sleep cycle and ease you into falling asleep naturally, without taking any pills.

If this is a big problem for you, you'll have to contact your doctor to have him call the pharmacy to have the Rx refilled.

I would really try to do without them first, if you can.
