I was prescribed lisinopril 10mg once a day and metformin 500mg twice a day...?

I heard it may be best to take lisinopril 1st thing in the morning and the 1st dose of metformin w/ breakfast. So can I take both at the same time? If not, how far apart do I need to space them?
