I was put on a years probaton for a dui in nebraska and was wondering how soon i could get off?

I have all of my fines paid and classes completed.

  1. This is just a guess, but probably a year.

You are lucky you are not in New York State.We have zero tolerance for drinking and driving,or driving under the influence.First offense ,you would have been in jail ,paid a fine,lost your license for a yr and/or 6months to a yr in jail.Basically ,you will probably be doing the whole time.That is unless you are violated by you p.o. for breaking the law again.

It would depend on the jurisdiction.  Some departments terminate their defendants early and some do not.  Sometimes, the State agrees to an early termination in the plea agreement.  Other times, the defendant has to go back and motion for an early termination from the Court.  Talk to your PO and they would be able to advise you on your options.

  5. Well you could break the law, and then go back to jail for the time they stated if you broke probation.  Otherwise it would be one year
