Where do our puppies come from?

We have a group of dedicated Canadian breeders that have been working together for more than 15 years. Their passion is dogs and they're dedicated to their dogs full-time. The dogs live in the house or in a kennel beside the house. The dogs are loved and cherished throughtout their lifetimes.

Our Mission

To breed dogs first for temperament, genetic health and then conformation by following all guidelines for good breeding practices and have happy and healthy puppies.

In addition, a small percentage of specialized puppies are imported from the States and Europe. These suppliers are scrutinized by State By-Law officers, Agriculture Canada, Representatives of our Company and our Breeder Program Manager.

  1. It means that this is their response to the increased public awareness of puppy mills: telling the customer exactly what they want to hear and making it sound as reputable as possible.

    Lies!

Group of breeders? = BYBs and puppy mills.

dogs live in a house OR IN A KENNEL BESIDE THE HOUSE

I'd like to know WHOSE "guidelines" for breeding they are following

imports are scrutinized??  Yeah, sure....  We have all those things in the US too... USDA licensing/certification, Company Representatives, Breeder Program Managers....  what difference does it make if that company is a puppy mill?

That's funny.... they now offer a "pet record" for "designer percentage" pets.... BUT "cost of this record is $35 and delivery takes 4-8 weeks...."   That sounds a bit like some stories I've heard about PetLand lying about puppies' registrations.... when the papers finally arrive 8 weeks later, the new owners realize they've been conned.

  2. it means this pet store is trying to con ignorant buyers that don't know any better. NO reputable breeder on the planet sells to pet stores. once again, NO REPUTABLE BREEDER ON THE PLANET SELLS TO PET STORES. any puppy miller on in the world can claim that they devote their lives to dogs and all that B.S. but that doesn't make them any less of a puppymill. petstores are out for one thing... profit, end of story! they contract with puppymills to make money with no cares as to where the dog goes or what happens after the money is in their hands
