So I was sitting in the front seat of the car, didn't have my seat belt on and we were parked in a parking spot towards the front of a car and all of a sudden a woman rear ended me in her BMW she backed right into our car and I moved.. like she pushed the car feeling, my mom was in the grocery store and I was in the car didn't feel like walking around, but now I regret sitting in the car. I got out of the car and she got out and we looked at the damage done, her car was scratched a bit but ours looked ok but some paint scrapes and she said well if you're ok I'm ok and she left. I got the plate number and we called the police but they didn't make a report since it looked ok, but now a few hours later my neck is starting to hurt. What can I do, what should I do now?

:(

  1. Tell the police immediately, as in before the 24 hours after the incident preferably.  Believe me it matters and your neck pain could be turning into whiplash which is very painful.  Go to Doctor and go with your mom to make an accident report to the police, and inform them of your injury caused by this woman.

Ps get your insurance company to go after her!:)

  2. File a police report "NOW" and let you insurance company handle this for you and in the meantime you need to go and see a doctor asap.

  3. i guess there aint much you can do know its all done and over....

should of  made up some neck pains, even if you didnt have any at the time...just to be a a*****e lol and make her pay your bill well holefully you would of got some pain killers or something

  4. If you don't get medical attention within 24 hours of the accident, your medical costs might be harder to recover in the event something is wrong. You must also file an accident report if you claim an injury. The clock is ticking, don't waste time reading any more posts. What the others and I have said should be enough for you to make a decision. Get medically checked out ASAP (go to the Emergency Room, don't wait for a dr's appointment), then if they find something, immediately file an accident report with the police within the proper jurisdiction.

My grandma used to say "p**p or get off the pot, but do SOMETHING."
