to train me but it is in a garage at his house with a bunch of guys and no women are their. The place is located three to four miles from the highway. I am extremely cautious about it. He is offering to train me for free, but I don't know what to do. I really get an uneasy feeling about it. Whats your advice?

  1. First off, the gym was shut down for ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. That would tell me the owner didn't have any concerns about breaking the law. Do you really want to consort with this type of person? Chances are he will take advantage of you.

If you really want to train I would look into a reputable gym or maybe a DOJO for martial arts.

    PS

If you are a women then I would definately NOT trust this person with your safety.

  2. Obviously you don't know the owner of the previous gym or you wouldn't be uneasy about doing the private training.  But since you are and the gym was shut down due to "illegall activities" then I would suggest you not to take him up on his "free" training lessons.  If you really want to do this, then do a little more research and find more out about him and his training.

You can never be too careful!

    Good luck.
