if you have kids they probaly played with the recorder and the tape was overwritten, when a tape is overwritten the previous recording is covered by whatever you are saying, sometimes this recording is left behind and small pieces can still be heard, otherwise this should be in the paranormal section, but a proffesinal audio editor can help you find out what it said ,usually they live in big cities like NY and LA and they are SUPER PRICY to work with!

hiya this is EVP or electronic voice phenomena.

I work as a paranormal investigator and analyse these all the time. If you care to send me the file (if you can digitise it) I can analyse the wave form.

People usually dismiss evp as fake, however in genuine cases, the wave forms cannot be replicated by a human voice. Id be interested in hearing that.

You could also go to the area you recorded in and introduce yourself to the girl. Hit the record button and ask a series of questions allowing time for an answer Start by introducing yourself 'Hello, my name is..... what is your name? *pause* how old are you? *pause* are you male or female? *pause* what year is it? *pause* who is the king/queen/president? *pause*

When you play it back you can sometimes get answers =)

It works better with digital voice recorders, and if it has a USB port, so much the better =)

The tape was going through the machine the wrong speed.  It was you that you heard.  The pitch of your voice would go way up when the tape is moving at the wrong speed.  This is a common occurrence when a tape recorder needs to be cleaned and serviced, or if the tape is defective.  It was not an Alien :)
