Question:

I was refused entry into US in 1995. Can I travel back there now. I am from the UK.?

There was no real reason given for being refused. I think they thought I was trying to settle there. I now want to go back for a month and have somewhere to stay.

  1. No one can give a clear answer. The US is very vigilant about who they let into their country now, especially after 9/11.

    Since there was no real reason for being refused, and if you have no criminal record, outstanding warrants or anything suspicious of that nature, then I suppose it doesn't hurt to try again.

    However, if there's a secret note on your file (for whatever reason), then the customs officer can do whatever he/she pleases.

    It's really one of those things you'll just have to try and hope for the best.
