I was researching a medication my doctor has had me on.?

And I learned how dangerous it is. I am appalled at why my doctor would prescribe it. I have always trusted him and he seems like a really good person. I heard about doctors getting incentives to prescribe certain drugs and I am starting to believe this may be the case. Can anyone else share any info on this?

Very good that you are doing research. If you have any side effects report them to your doctor. I lost the hearing in my ear do to a medication I  took!

The food and drug administration has made it a money game.  The big drug producing companies have used their money to influence this administration.  Instead of a recommending an herbal or home remedy doc's have been encouraged to write the more expensive meds out to patients, which I am sure includes perks.  I am lucky and have a dr. who is also human and has not been brainwashed in this area.
