A guy was watching me naked through a window under the blind and masterbating. Is this common?? I was ashamed and I don't think that this is the first time. I'm now completely blocked my window and worried about my safety. Should I worry? What should I do?

  1. It's called a "peeping Tom," and it might be OK but it might be trouble. (That wasn't a very helpful comment, was it?)

I would go to the police station and file a complaint in order to alert them to a peeping Tom in the neighborhood, and also to make a record of it in order to prove you didn't "encourage" or "enjoy" it (sad, but this really is one of the reasons!). If you see this guy again call the cops right away, even if he runs.

  2. LoL Haha

  3. If you were terrifying, why was a naked man looking at you and why is the window under the blind?I don't fully understand.

  4. This is most definitely a DANGEROUS situation.  This person has no right to violate the sanctity of your body and privacy of your room.  Please tell your parents (If you live with them)

This guy has committed a  crime!

Call the police department and tell them what has occurred.  Continue to keep the block on the window. Please read the source listed below under "how to handle a peeping tom"

DO NOT feel ashamed, you did nothing wrong.  You are not alone, unfortunately this has happened to other unsuspecting young women.

Ask the local law enforcement about legitimate, trusted  groups where you could discuss this issue (anonymously if necessary)

Please do not hesitate, If this person is not caught he may continue to "peep." After a while of peeping/masturbating he may not become as aroused and the behavior may escalate into  the need for something more physical (having to have touch his victim)

  5. If you are serious - you need to report this to the police.

  6. You were terrified - and no, this is NOT common - you need to call the police- it's called indecent exposure  and is a crime.  And I would go talk to the landlord of the other building and tell him what was going on.

Don't feel ashamed because this guy was a pervert - you did nothing wrong.

DO NOT go talk to the guy like someone else suggested - you do NOT need to put yourself in a situation where he could get aggressive and violent with you.  Avoid him.

Otherwise, keep your doors locked when home.

  7. Eww. O.o Well, that really sucks...do you know this guy? Maybe you could tell someone about it? Or you could just act like it never happened.

    That's pretty creepyyyy.
