I was thinking how nice a flat screen tv would look over the fireplace.Hubby says no way its too hot .?

How is it I see it on tv and in home deco mags??? Is it too hot or not ???

Besides, you wanna be looking UP at the tv?

I would think looking straight ahead as you are sitting there would be comfortable.

Besides, if you really got a fire going, the light would be distracting

Haha yeahh sorry, its too hot. ive come to find that a lot of the stuff in those magazines violate many safety rules. It would look nice though :\

Yes, it's too hot. You see it on TV and in magazines because it looks nice, not because it is practical.

The idea of those shots is to make them look good. It's all about composure.

I like it but it does depend on the heat your fireplace put out.
