I was thinking of getting a tivo but how does it work? ?

and is there a extra fee for using it? and can i use dvd on it to rec and have it forever my shows. thanks

I HAVE A TIVO THROUGH DIRECT TV. I PAY A MONTHLY FEE. tHE TIVO SERVES AS MY SATELLITE RECEIVER. iT IS QUITE SIMPLE TO OPERATE. ON MY REMOTE THERE IS A PLACE CALLED LIST . Iclick on it.

  Then you surf the menu. You can program to record once or an entire season. It is relatively simple to operate. It is

completely digital. You don't need any dvd's for it to record.

  Mine will record up to 100 hours. You could hook a dvd recorder to it . I hope this is helpful.

MY cousin has it and hates it, unreliable.

My sister had it and hated it, unreliable.

I have Apple tv and love it; reliable, stable, Cheap after the first layout off 400 for the hardware. Its a lot all at once, but now, its not expensive at all, and I have all the shows I want, plus my music and videos,

Cant get me to give up my apple tv..... !!
