  1. No. My daughter was a flower girl and she was 24 months old! It's a cute idea! Kids are too cute!

  2. Nah, I have 2 babies coming to mine!  by the time my wedding comes, one will be 10 months old and one will be 9 months old.  I cant wait to see them both in little tartan trousers or a kilt lol

  3. no i dont think so

is just a babie & i dont see why not

  4. That age looks really cute all dressed up but I have been at weddings with young ones like that when the time comes won't walk down the aisle or stand still during and will cry for their mothers, so many different things can happen. You might want to try taking him to the church or to the place you are getting married way ahead of time to see how he does and then make a choice. It's such a special day for you so make a choice where you don't have to worry about what will happen. Good Luck!!

  5. No I think he will be fine. My friend had her daughter who was 2 and she did just fine and it was really adorable!

  6. Nope, I actually had three flower girls!  my daughter was 6, My niece was 17 months and then my littlest daughter was only 10 months (But my sis carried her down!)  They all looked so cute!

  7. Not really.  But, try not to have too high of expectations.  Kids will usually do whatever they want- even with all the coaching!  Just be flexible about it and it will be fine.

  8. It really depends on his maturity level.  Is he able to follow directions well and do you think he would get freaked out in front of a large crowd of people?

  9. It will be fine. Just plan on him to throw a fit kicking and screaming down the aisle, or not walk down the aisle at all, because honestly, that's what could happen with a 22-month-old. I had a 3 year old in my wedding, and expected the worst -- he ran down the aisle, threw the ring bearer pillow at my groom, then ran back. It was adorable, but I had to plan for the worst and was okay with whatever he did.

If you want a perfect wedding where he will walk down the aisle slowly and calmly and not be heard crying, then dont' ask him. If you don't mind if he throws a tantrum or doesn't do his job, then ask him. :) It might work out!

  10. He will be the perfect age and look so adorable.

    Congratulations !

  11. Well, if you actually want him to do anything and are going to be stressed out if he doesn't do it, then he is about 4 years too young.

Also - you CANNOT compare what a little girl will do at the same age to what a little boy will do.  Little girls in weddings think they are princesses and will gladly dance down the aisle in front of their "audience".  There is not a boy in the world who wants any part of that performance!

Forget the "cute" factor and instead remember why weddings have attendants - to witness and provide support during and after the wedding.

  12. He is too young to expect him to be able to perform a task or walk alone.  If someone can carry him then he can be in it, but you never know what they will do at that age.

  13. Nah, it will be cutie, just remember he might act up one in a while, but that's normal, and most people think its cute! Congradulations.
