"Liquidum Paraffinum is an exotic sounding way to say mineral oil (!!) See Mineral Oil ...>> Petroleum by-product that coats the skin like plastic, clogging the pores. Interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. Slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Used in many products (baby oil is 100% mineral oil!) Any mineral oil derivative can be contaminated with cancer causing PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap.

-Mineral oil

-Liquidum paraffinum (also known as posh mineral oil!)

-Paraffin oil

-Paraffin wax

Petrolatum "

it's another name for mineral oil. i'ts made from refined crude oil and plasticizes on your skin. it's also a known carcinogen and the 2nd leading cause of aging in skin, yet it's in 98% of personal care products on the market usually under various different names.

Should I take the risk on purchasing Bio-oil?

  1. "it plasticizes on your skin. it's also a known carcinogen and the 2nd leading cause of aging in skin..."

Where in the world are you getting this c**p from?  Do you even know what "plasticizes" means?

And why do you want to buy "Bio-oil" anyway??  Can't answer your question without knowing that.

  2. I am assuming you are looking to increase your skin tone and prevent aging.  "Evening Primrose Oil" and Aloe have shown to help with that. The other way to look at it is to see what works for eczema - http://www.rvita.com/conditions/eczema.h...
