my stepdad tells me to park it turned right?

  1. Left is the safest..

  2. You can't park a modern park turned to the right because the fork won't lock. Is he British or something?

  3. It depends on which way  the grade is.

  4. Left is generally considered correct. Turning it to the right is sometimes better if your bike's center of gravity is very high AND a bike that has a short kick stand, so turning the handle bars to the left will make your bike lean even more to the left, and become possibly unstable and topple over. It most cases though, turning the bars to the right will make it less stable on the kick stand.
